Dukinfield Whites v Staylebridge Celtics

Dukinfield White’s second game in the summer league ended with a win over Stalybridge. After last weeks disappointment Dukinfield White’s were looking to turn their fortunes around and push for the fist win to help kick start the summer league. The game was a hard fought competition with both teams wanting to win the game. Dukinfield started the brightest and were able to get in front in the first 5 minutes of the game; this gave the lads some confidents and help them push on to get the second goal to calm down the players and help them play free flowing football. Unfortunately Stalybridge managed to claw their back into the game level the score to 2-2 at half time. In the second half, Dukinfield started the strongest and scored three goals in quick succession giving them a comfortable lead to see through until the end of the game. Stalybridge tried to get themselves back into the game but left it to late to gain a draw. Dukinfield White’s won the game 5-4 due to some fantastic free flowing football. Let’s carry on with the excellent football Dukinfield White’s and carry on causing upset where ever we go!!
