Result:  Dukinfield U13s Greens v De La Salle U13s  2-0

It was good to get back to playing football for the Greens after the Christmas and postponed matches and what a game it was for the Greens who won a very good game against a very good De La Salle team who was being watched by scouts.

From the Keepers, Defenders, Midfield and the Attack it was a first class display.

1st Half: It was a cagey start from both teams in the first half, with the Greens creating ten chances to De La Salle four. The first goal came from a very good whipped in cross from Ben Stewart out on the left that a De La Salle defender could only bundle into his own net for 1-0 to the Greens. HT 1-0.

2nd Half: The Greens again created most of the chances in the second half, eight to two and the Greens second goal came from a very good run by Mackenzie Yates who, passed to Charlie Hobson and he fired in a low shot from out side the area that went in off the far post for 2-0 to the Greens. De La Salle pumped the ball in to the area every chance they had but the Keeper and the Defence  coped with any attack they mounted and the game ended 2-0.
