Todays game played in the Tameside Unders 16s A Saturday League

Team From: Callum Malpas, Sam Byrne, Leon Hampson, James Collinson, Tom Fulton, Lewis Hewitt Britner, Yayah Malik, Ben Melling Whitworth, Gianni Tumini, Alexander Winstanley, Noah Garvey, Callum Lee, Jack Ward, Lewis Hartford Tyrer and Mackenzie Yates.

The game was played on a Sunny but cold day on a grassy pitch that needed cutting, this was the very last game that was being played by the Whites.

The Referee got the game under way.

2 It was the Whites who started on the front foot when Noah put Leon through to score for 0-1.

4 Following a great run from Noah his shot was blocked for a corner that came to nothing.

6 Following some brilliant one touch football Noah put Jack through but his shot was over.

11 this time James put Jack through but his shot was wide.

14 When the Whites won a free kick that Xander took but it was saved.

18 The Whites further increased their lead when again some good football From Leon to Noan who passed to James to score for 0-2.

21 The opposition got back into the game following a corner that was cleared to the edge of the area that was lashed into the net giving Callum no chance for 1-2..

24 it only took 3 minutes for the Whites to increase their lead with some more very good football with James putting Leon through who then passed to Noah to score for 1-3

29 From an opposition attack with a player in the area, the Referee gave a very soft penalty that Callum got down to his left and saved it.

33 The Whites won a free kick that Leon took to Noah but his shot was saved.

39 Again thre Whites won a free kick that Xander took that was wide.

HT 1-3

The second half started

44 The first chance fell to the Whites with Jack firing over

45 The coaches changed the keeper Callum with James going in goal and Callum going up front. the opposition also played their keeper up front.

48 The Whites had a chance with Callum Lee charging forward but his shot was over

50 The opposition had a good chance but the shot was blocked by Sam and cleared.

54 The opposition then had another shotb that was wide.

60 The Whites had a chance with a shot that was wide from of all people James (the Goalkeeper)

64 The Whites had another chance when Callum M put Noah through but his was wide.

68 Following a great run from Ben he put Lewis in but his shot was wide

73 Following a scramble in the area Xander had a great chance but could only fire wide.

75 With James well off his line the opposition goalkeeper who playing out fire in a long range shot into the net for 2-3

78 With time running out, the ball fell to Callum M who side steps a player and fired in a shot that skimmed the post that would have been a fitting end to his playing career with the Whites.

With no further chance to either side the Referee blew for full time.

As this is my last report on the Dukinfield Whites under16s, I have to say it has been an absolute pleasure doing the reports on a fabulous bunch of lads.

I hope you have enjoyed my reports, I will miss the Saturday mornings and doing the reports but I wont miss this web site Bloody night mare at times.
